Garden of Silhouettes

There are times when you are walking alone thinking and your mind surfing on the waves of random thoughts. Although surrounded by hundreds of people, not bothered you just walk, walk like there is no destination, walk like you are flying and the space so crowded yet so empty fills your mind with silhouette of your life.
Every instance that you reminisce evokes an emotion, sad or happy it might be, but nevertheless , is a sensation and that moment you think what if --I could just capture it ! , there are some instances which you want to be etched in your mind forever and that is what makes a photograph special, it’s always ecstatic to see pictures of yourself after 10 years; the joy and the sentiments it brings out are always enthralling.

The bliss of photography is boundless; the colours of Mother Nature are so profound and heavenly that sometimes you are awed by the mystic creation that surrounds you, we see them around us every day but it’s in these photographs that we tend to admire its richness and beauty. A striking picture of a mountain or a water fall is always delightful to the eyes and the gentle smile captured in a fraction of second can win hearts. Wallpaper with all your friends in it can always cheer you up when you are sad and a stranger in your favourite picture becomes so familiar that it feels as if you have known him for ages and provokes a question “In how many pictures I might be a stranger”?

This power of photography is what appeals me, gives direction to my thoughts. There is always an urge inside me that makes me click pictures of the jiffies in my everyday life so that when I walk alone with my eyes sketching the outline of my dreams there are always pictures to fill them, to shape them so that one day they are not just silhouettes but a garden of my life.
