The Juvenile Pride
We fall and fall again, some of us cry while some of us cheat, some of us start praying, but few fall again only to realize that their fall was not merely a collapse but a flight of thousand miles. We shall call such heroes as FALLEN warriors.
Just for a moment try to imagine that you are standing on top of a heavenly mountain, from where everything is visible, every human being is perceptible, with his actions itched like lines on the map. Every mortal being in this world is running after something and that “something” is what defines him, explains his deeds. We call that “something” as our desire. Well how do you feel? When you have worked very hard for something and its just not happening the way you imagined. How does it feel when your ego is trampled and the pride masticated by the jaws of destiny? Overwhelmed and shattered human ego is a big misery and we all face it one day or the other and those who slain the Satan inside them shall be called a warrior.
Phew!..
Too much of philosophy in here! I guess excess of T.V series is distressing me! Anyways staying glued to the subject matter what I intend to say is that sometimes fate tricks our pride to fall, that doesn’t mean that we should surrender. Let’s consider the present situation; it’s been three long years in Manipal, some of us worked hard, some of us partied, however there is one common factor between the two groups. Every student in here has a dream; his actions are all directed to achieve that one important thing. We all have developed a character wall around us with portraits of desires hanging on it. For many of us it’s our ego that pumps in the confidence. The same ego which builds the wall and this juvenile ego of ours fail to realize that there is a door in the wall which we need to open one day or the other to face the colossal reality of this world.
The time is ripe, judgment day is fast approaching and many of us are still in dilemma. I am very sure that with time we shall see slain ego and fallen pride but only those will succeed whose moral fibers are strong enough to embrace the fruits of their deeds and again we shall call those as fallen warriors who fail but nonetheless achieve the dream they always dreamt.
PS: The above post is all inspired by the frustration and is complete bullshit. No apologize for wasting your time, as you are indeed jobless and perturbed to read the entire thing. ;-P

u hit the nail right on the head....our pride is indeed juvenile...n wats worse is that once that pride is crushed..it beats the livin daylight out of us....
